Jaimes Mario Bowen is a Co-Director of the Malonga Arts Residents Tenants Association. Mario is originally from Dallas, TX, started dancing at Kansas State University under the direction of former professor, Joyce Yagerline.
He then joined the Dallas Black Dance Theatre second company; and the HappyNia Dance Theater Productions under the direction of Dereque Whiturs, former dancer of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre. In addition to spending a couple years in The cheer industry, James moved to Oakland to join AXIS Dance Company where he performed in excellence for two years.
After AXIS he then joined Post: Ballet in 2016. James has passion for the performing arts and creating art that focuses on the marginalized population here in these United States.
